Twelve minutes of calm to soften your heart, clear a corner, and set one gentle start for Monday.
Last time, we talked about the in-between days—the slow mornings and the evenings when the house hums and you finally hear your own thoughts. Tonight is the next page. Lights low, window cracked, a record spinning. We’re not reinventing life; we’re simply choosing a few small, beautiful things that make it feel like ours again.

I’m using Sunday evenings as a peaceful return to center. Not a grand plan or a full reset, just enough order for my body to soften and my mind to breathe. Tiny cues do most of the work: cool air on my skin, a glass of water or peppermint tea in hand. Sometimes a glass of full-bodied red, dark fruit on the nose, a little warmth in the throat, a calm scent, and music that tells the body we’re safe here.
Thank you to everyone who read, shared, and told me about your own in-between days. I loved reading the tiny wins: open windows, slower coffees, less pressure. Let’s keep that energy and make a small, beautiful scene on Sunday evening. I especially loved those who shared what you’re resetting at home.
Tonight, something simple we can all finish.
The 12 minutes ritual
Set the timer:

Open a window. Pour a glass of your favourite. Say, “This week is closing with care.”
Lay a little order
Choose one small surface that’s been calling your name. Clear it. Wipe it. Place one lovely thing there. A candle, a flower in a jar, your favourite cup, or even a photo of a loved one. Light your evening scent.
Touch the heart
Send one appreciation message to someone who deserves to know. Note one boundary for tomorrow. Write one line of gratitude. Later, I will share our gratitude jar with you.

Set the mind & body
Breathe slowly to thirty or roll your shoulders until they drop. Choose one Monday non-negotiable and write it where you’ll see it as soon as you wake up.
Close
Blow out the candle. Let the room exhale with you in a pocket of care that makes Monday kinder.
The October Reset playlist is live, a combination of slow jazz, blues, fusion, and soul to warm the room and lengthen your breath. Think velvet vocals and late-night brass: Nancy Wilson for writing one line of gratitude; Etta James when you wipe the last corner of the table and light your scent. Chet Baker as the candle flickers low, the kind of chords that makes your home feel soft and snuggly. October Reset Playlist - Press play
Try it tonight
Set a 12-minute timer. Keep it small and repeatable.
What’s next
The full countdown begins with the October Reset next Sunday. Tonight is the prelude. Same story, next chapter—more scent, texture, and sound to make everyday life feel like home.
With love,
Mon ♡

So inspiring !
I think it’s really important to have this moment, where you just reset in your mind and your space. To be ready to be the best version of yourself for the new week
